My dad was way too excited to tell me about his first karaoke experience.
I don’t remember whether or not I posted this before, but my Christmas present to my dad was what I consider one of the best gifts I’ve ever given: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on audiobook. See, my dad doesn’t read books. He likes to, but he just doesn’t have the time. So most books he reads he actually listens to on CD. My mom and sisters and I all love the Harry Potter series, and while he enjoyed the first few movies with us, he just didn’t get it. I wanted him to be able to be a part of this magic and understand our love, so I gave him the audiobook to maybe get that ball rolling.
He posted this on my wall earlier today, and I am just really proud and happy to welcome him to the magical community.
Me: Sooo…..what are these white cups for? Why are they here?
Dad: They were for Leah’s party the other night. Ya know, we couldn’t have those red cups that are notorious for having “DRANK” in them…..
Dad: Who's....Robert Pattinson?
Patra: Seriously?
Patra: He's the male lead in those Twilight movies.
Mom: And he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter.
Me: How do you not know this?
Dad: I don't know, I just don't.
Dad: But now I do.
Dad: Okay, now who is Kristen Stewart?
