Hi.

I’m Sophia Maria. I look like this.

I wear that grey sweater a lot.

I’m from near Chicago—a village called Mokena in an area called Lincoln-Way. It’s not perfect, but I love where I come from.

I’m 20 years old. I completed my first year of university here

at Illinois State. I loved very few parts of that experience, but enough that the place will forever be dear to me. It wasn’t the right place for me, though, so I took a year off, which is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. In August, I moved to Decatur, IL to resume and complete my education at Millikin University. I’m studying music education. 

Music is an extremely important part of my life, and so are people. I’ve been blessed to have great people in my life: people I’ve worked with, played with, sang with, and just loved. Most of my friends are away at school, so I spend a lot of time alone, which has made me truly appreciate people even more.

I have a family that loves me very much. Dad, Mommy,

and two younger sisters, Patra (the blonde) and Leah.

Oh yeah, I’m gay, btw.

I’m shy, but pretty open and I love to talk to people. I have many interests and a large capacity to love. I’m a huge fan of White Sox baseball and I listen to lots of different music. Most things about me are yours for the knowing if you just ask.
